PSG rid of Chelsea, Mourinho Invite Ibra Chat
Chelsea should be eliminated from the European Champions League this season. Step Blues stopped in round 16 after leg 2, dramatic 2-2 draw by 10-man Paris Saint Germain (PSG) at Stamford Bridge on Thursday morning GMT.
However this does not preclude failure Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, to talk with PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In this duel, Ibra sent off in the 31st minute, after a foul on Chelsea player, Oscar.
As reported by Soccerway, Mourinho said he did not see a direct violations committed against Oscar Ibrahimovic. However, he believes, the Swede was not violated decent red card.
"I'm too far away from the situation facing Ibrahimovic and I can not see it. After the match, I spoke to him, and when he spoke to me, he was always honest," said Mourinho.
"He would tell me if there is a reason for the red card. He was very disappointed. If there was a mistake, I hope they give him the chance to appear in the quarter-finals, because he does not deserve the punishment," said Mou.
Although defending Ibra, Mourinho should judge, David Luislah decent red carded, while elbowing Diego Costa in the penalty box. "It was clearly a penalty for Diego Costa. So, once again I say, a waste of time and money just to put a referee behind the goal, because they usually do not pass anything," explained Mourinho.
"If he can not see a penalty 10 meters from him, obviously it was a waste of time and money," added the Portuguese coach
